The one on the left is a concept for a mobile version of the HowLongToBeat website that uses self-submitted data to give you an estimate on how long a game will take to beat. The one the right is a leader board for a mobile soccer game.

This is the 2018 UCSC Games Showcase map, back when it was still called “The Sammy Showcase”. This is the layout that we used when hosted at the UCSC Santa Clara campus.
This is the 2019 UCSC Games Showcase map that we used back in June! The location this time was in UCSC’s Digital Arts Research Center.
Below is the leaflet that I created with information on the 2019 UCSC Games Showcase. I modified the map a bit since it would be printed in black & white and tried to compress as much information as possible into a single sheet of paper.

AGPM major video for prospective students
As the adviser for the Art & Design: Games + Playable Media (AGPM) major, I was tasked with creating a short informational video about what our game design major has to offer. We didn’t have a budget for the project, so I had to get creative with it. I gathered image and video assets from our media archive and started storyboarding the concept for the video. Once that was hashed out, I wrote a script, edited the video and recorded a voice-over. I’m definitely no Guillermo del Toro, but I think it came out alright despite me not having any prior experience making videos!
